Author guidelines for abstract submission

Version 3

These guidelines provide a consistent submission format for abstracts of EngiWeave 2026 (1st International Conference on Convergent Engineering and Sustainable Technologies 2026).

1. Word limit The abstract must not contain more than 350 words. For consistency, count the abstract body only; exclude the title, author names, affiliations, keywords, and disclosures. If the submission portal specifies a different counting rule, follow the portal.

2. Title Use a concise, specific title that communicates the subject and contribution. Avoid unexplained abbreviations, unnecessary punctuation, and all-capital titles.

3. Authors and affiliations List all authors in the agreed order and provide each author’s department, institution, city, and country. Clearly identify the presenting author and provide a valid corresponding-author email address.

4. Abstract content State the problem or context, the objective, the methods or approach, the principal results (where available), and the conclusion or practical/scientific significance. Include quantitative findings when they are central to the contribution. Do not make claims unsupported by the work.

5. Keywords Provide 3–5 specific keywords or short phrases in alphabetical order that help categorize the submission. Separate keywords with semicolons.

6. Language and Formatting All abstracts should be submitted in English language as Microsoft Word file with .docx extension. It should strictly adhere to word template provided by the organizers.

7. Abbreviations and units Define each non-standard abbreviation at first use. Use SI units where applicable and check symbols, numbers, and technical terminology for consistency.

8. Originality and accuracy Submit original work and ensure that all authors have approved the abstract. Confirm that names, affiliations, data, results, and contact details are accurate. Follow the conference’s policies on prior publication, duplicate submissions, and research ethics.

9. Review and acceptance criteria The submitted abstracts should be clear language, free of grammatical errors. Abstracts may be assessed for relevance to the conference themes, clarity, technical/scientific merit, originality, methods, results, and significance.

10. File naming and submission Suggested file name: EngiWeave2026 _FirstAuthor_Title.docx. Submit only through the official EngiWeave 2026 Microsoft CMT portal; do not submit abstracts by email or the general enquiry form. Check the website for deadlines, tracks, fees, and any additional requirements.

11. Relevant theme selection Submit the abstract in the relevant conference theme to avoid any inconvenience or desk rejection.
